Glass Powder Vessels

A sampling of pieces created using glass powders. The glass powders allow for so much design creativity. It's always exciting to see how the design transforms in the kiln. Different shaped vessels yield varying changes to the patterns.

working with Sheet Glass

Using sheet glass and letting varying temperatures, composition and kiln gravity manipulate the process always creates stunning outcomes.

Glass Line

Glass line is a method that was brought to the forefront by Master Glass Artist Richard La Londe. The process uses glass powder to create the line work, with a combination of glass powder and crushed glass to complete the image. I typically will make individual sheets of glass using this method then incorporate them with sheet glass to make the individual pieces.
